I have come from another group where there was always something being posted in the forum ,its a shame that this group's members do not take the time to submit i was floored that a member tonight didn't even know a fundamental rule of spawn and i realized i don't see any entry's from him or certain recruits for that matter i suggest a campaign of sorts to get this group to not be so stagnate ,maybe i am wrong here .Will any one point that out or will this go on not replied to as other postings i have made .Hmmmm time will tell
so
1. I have wondered does any one here in the group do any mapping for this half life mod we call dod?
oh and i would consider making a map and be honored if i saw the clan server running it someday but unsure of any interest
2. does any one here have a compulsive knead to restore old car like me? (hell I'm a mechanic so go figure)
3. Do any of you enjoy x-files so much that you would not want to watch that new show fringe?
so that's something i thought i would share .I dared all ikip members that were on tonight in game to post something today . i use to check this forum daily i get tired of seeing my name every where as recent post so kum on you peeps lets get this going Very Happy

I am the one you are referring to who didn't know about the "no machine gun in spawn rule". I am guilty and will not do it again. I see this done all the time on the DoD IKIP Klan server. I suggest that admins do an aggressive campaign to stop spawn mole machine gunning by warning once and then banning for the rest of the day if this rule is abused. I also suggest that repeat offenders be banned for days or weeks at a time if this rule is violated repeatedly. The same should be done with grenades thrown into spawn. That's my thought on the subject. I will try to respect this rule in the future. Thank you. Very Happy

No, DaddyO, you were not in the wrong. The "MG rule" only applies to when you are deployed with a MG (like the MG-42, MG-43, BAR, etc.), not when you are using the STU-44, Thompson, etc.

I also agree that these forums should be more active.

Hey Daddy O , I salute you for koming in to the forum (I shure thought you where being sarcastic) and stepping forward it was my understanding that any machine gun is a no no, from my personal use of them in spawn ,long ago so .......

When moleing, MG's are not allowed (this will ruin the game for other players);"............so i my self will not use a nade in spawn or mg , I always wonder what would happen if i mole with a bazooka and managed get a huge kill ,for now I'll just settle for my riffle and use the undead mode ,knifing real fast is fun but probably a little mean so i rarely do that

Milburn, you can still use any weapon, as long as it's not deployed. That has been my understanding of the rule...maybe we can get an erratum, IKIP? Smile

lol I know there air is a little thin there in Colorado but a mg is a mg if someone moles with the bar and has there sensitivity sett very high on there mouse it would shure give a disadvantage I suspect that a Multi firing Gun in any form is what rule 11 refers too .wheres Ikip anyways?

The intent is to keep the true "MG's" out of the spawn, the two Axis and one Allied MG's.

This would inklude undeployed ones as well.
